NSFW WEDS*

Last Night’s Party is a website dedicated to photos of people in big cities getting fucked up at private parties.  It’s like a gory car accident: you want to look at it yet you’re thankful to not be a part of it.  They do look like they’re having fun, though.  I picked out 15 of my favorite images from their site.  You can get lost in a two-hour time warp of art shots, tattoos, anorexic white girls on blow, trustafarians and DJs or you can check out my best of LNP right here.

*Wednesdays at Brooklyn Imbecile is Not Safe For Work Day, so if you’re viewing this right now at your corporate America job, sorry, but you just had a personal file created by your IT’s facist security team, so I would avoid being late to work in the mornings from now on. Until we find a decent way to completely disintegrate this non-functional capitalist police state work week, y’all have a happy Hump Day!

Money Talks

Dan Tague folds up money to create new messages, like “State Of Fear” (above) and calls it art.

Commute Summary

The video above is my tri-borough evening commute from my day job.  I used the Timelapse Pro App on the iPhone and tried to hold it steady for the most of my one hour commute home.  Before I was home, this app allowed me to edit some images, add music (I used noise band Forcefield‘s “Schmoos Bass Slow”) and gave it a “hard color” filter — all editing done within the phone.  I had it on Youtube before I even had my key in the door.  Pretty cool, eh? (It looks better at full screen).

Post-Irene Sunset

It’s still windy out there, but Irene’s departure brought a nice late Summer sunset.  Now, instead of going to work tomorrow, let’s start this fucking weekend over again, right?

Irene, You Tease!

I know, baby, Coney Island cold-clocked you and ya broke apart.  By the time you made it up to Greenpoint, you were like, “Ooohhhhhh”.

Pre-Irene Flooding

I walked the western edge of Greenpoint, in the evacuation zone, on Saturday evening to got some “Before” images of Irene.  Here at West Street and Huron, there already was flooding coming out through the drains. Not a good sign; if there’s a storm surge, this will surely all be underwater soon.
