I noticed these flyers taped up all of my neighborhood last night and wasn’t sure what to make of it. I will be the first to say that I am always interested in finding something that hasn’t been done already, but I’m not sure this is the way to go about it. I see this social experiment resulting in a bunch of smart ass responses, yet at the same time, you never know, something interesting may come of it. Urban Canvas was a NYC design contest to pick four designs to use for temporary protective structures for construction sites, obviously in Manhattan and not Brooklyn. Or maybe just places where they know they will actually complete the project.
