I love when property owners cover up graffiti with such tedious methods of only covering the new illegal paint instead of just busting out a roller and painting that surface in a minute. And it looks like it’s the residue of the tags more than a successful cover up.

I agree. I hate when graffiti is covered up and it looks so much worse than it did with the graffiti. Of course matching paint/stucco or whatever to the wall, can be hard, but still.
if grapheetists stopped graffiti-ing, then you wouldn’t have to cover it up.
