Puddle Rings

Whenever it rains on this old planter box located near where I work in Manhattan, a round puddle forms and as the sun comes out and evaporates the water, little pretty rings form on its surface.

Does anyone else notice these things?

Like the rings of a tree, these rings also are evidence of time passed.

Beauty is in the eye of the abstraction appreciater.

  1. i bet it would be fun to do a chemical analysis of them puppies and see what’s really there.

    I-)

  2. That is really beautiful. So glad you can see beauty in the everyday, just saw a blog where someone had seen beauty in the inside of a house paint can. Sometimes you just can re-produce accidents no matter how you try.
