I love big old commercial signs, especially ones that create frames for trees and sky like this one on Bayard Street on the Northside of Brooklyn.

i like the ufo trail in the third photo!
what was that place before the sign fell apart? ‘sta…ribbon’? ‘chemicals division’?
some googloogling of that addy shows it to be the home of snow white chemical corporation, which is a division of starco chemical inc. (which is what is missing on that sign). snow white also has an office in williston. there is also a ‘consep group inc.’ listed for that address, with an office in great neck, and they are general contractors.
