This is the lunch I got today from Eastern District. The sandwich was excellent and very fresh tasting. The chips & soda, although not cheap, were new to me, which made it all worthwhile.

Eastern District has been around for a couple of years now but I didn’t go inside until today. They have some hard to find groceries, lots of beer and cheeses and sandwiches made to order. If you want to call it a hipster deli, keep in mind that the owner is fourth generation Greenpoint.
