Finally had a chance to walk down to Williamsburg’s The Edge building & waterfront. The building is still ugly, but the dock they made is fucking nice. Here’s a 360 degree view video that I filmed using the 8mm App on the trusty ole iPhone.
And here are some other shots that I took at this insane luxury loft building. Insane because even after several years, it is still very difficult to see these monstrous beasts where 151 Kent used to be the tallest building by the water.
This building (below) next to The Edge was always here, it just got a facelift, and let’s face it, it’s beautiful and I would live here in a heartbeat.
But this shit is fugly and have you heard that several tenants are complaining that their walls are leaky and poorly insulated; mold is growing in the walls; and there is faulty plumbing, sewage, heating and air-conditioning systems. Bummer for a $650,000 home.
Seriously, does this even look like a picture from Brooklyn?
Just don’t look up or East and it’s very pretty.
You can keep your overpriced luxury mold room experiment and I will enjoy your new public backyard in all of its free-ness.
