1. YOUR SIGN IS ILLEGAL
2. YOU’RE WARNING PEOPLE
FROM NASSUA @ MCGUINNESS
GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN
Walking over the Queensboro Ed Koch Bridge is actually quite relaxing and there are some breath-taking views of our fine city, but during rush hour, it can be a bit frightening because of the lightening-fast bicyclists that zoom by at either end of the bridge’s declines. Fortunately, the geniuses at our Department of Transportation have solved this dilemma.. or have they?? It took me a couple weeks to process this information in my head, but does this shit make any sense? The picture above is on the Manhattan side of the bridge and the picture below is the Queens side of the bridge.
WTF? I’m not a bike person (mainly because there’s better ways to die) but this shit is confusing. Do ya switch halfway over the bridge? Is anyone really conscious about the road stencils? Anybody have any logic to contribute to this inconsistent road signage? If anything, they should change the stencil image of the pedestrian wearing a fucking helmet, too! Yo, bitches, whaddya thinkin’?
