ORCHIDS ARE FUCKING AMAZING

I WENT TO THE ORCHID SHOW

AT THE NY BOTANICAL GARDEN BX

Flashy Tribute

My final shots from Brooklyn’s Green-Wood Cemetery.

The rules of the grounds forbids flowers and other plastic tributes, but that still doesn’t stop some people from putting some very interesting and season-specific artifacts around their lost loved ones.

Some more beautiful, living things from my mini-vacation to the Florida Gulf Coast that doesn’t exist in Brooklyn.

Sunflower Wheatpaste

This beauty is from Smith Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

I need to revisit this spot when that harsh shadow isn’t on it, but it’s a well-placed piece.

Family Flowers And Foliage

Yup, I’m in Ohio. This is definitely not Brooklyn!

These pictures are from my brother’s wife’s in-laws’ home.

Hick’s In Diptics

Hick’s is a sweet ass plant nursery on Long Island.  It’s like all the cute little Brooklyn plant stores in one.  I took pictures with the Camera+ app on my phone and then I used the Diptic app to make the pictures more fun.

Petals, Points and Clusters

Up close photos of flowers that returned on their own to my rooftop this Spring.

From McCarren Park near Bayard Street.
