Modern Twist

Historical District

Back To Blissville

Pictures from the John Jay Byrne Bridge which connects Greenpoint, Brooklyn with Blissville, Queens.  Before this 20th century bridge on Greenpoint Avenue, a much older, simpler bridge connected the two boroughs via the Blissville Bridge.

Missing Buildings & Microwaves

From 35th Street in Queens, just a hop skip and ajump from the John Jay Byrne Bridge aka Greenpoint Avenue.

Weekend Spread: Beautiful Bricks

This wall on West Street between Greenpoint Avenue & Milton Street is beautiful.

The layers of reds & grays that are deteriorating on these bricks from the weather creates a gorgeous, changing texture.

If you’re into beautiful decay, this is the shizznit.
