Empty Space

Just some extra space between two buildings on Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens.

Cave Drawings

These are actually taken from the sidewalk attached to 5pointz.  I’ve shot the actual building before as well as their colorful hydrants.

5 Pointz Hydrantz

5 pointz is still alive and it’s still evolving. The murals are cool, but I also like the simple combinations of colors on a free standing, three dimensional object, like these hydrant stands.

Cafe Silo

This cafe has been here for over 80 years. From 46th Road in LIC.

Alternate Entrances

Interesting doorways from Vernon Blvd, LIC, Queens, NY, USA.

Nearby, down the stairs of the 7 train, there’s a surprising residential doorway.

Rust Love In Newish-ville

From 5th Street in Long Island City, Queens.

This is near Vernon Blvd where everything is new, condos are perfectly clean and there is almost no graffiti in the area. Seeing this old door gave me a sense of relief.
