On The Verge

Lots of art fairs this week. I will be posting random images straight from my phone. This comes from the second floor of the Verge Art Fair in the Dylan Hotel in  midtown. I couldn’t find the artists name anywhere, good job gallery.  The image below is a detail from Josh Jordon‘s “JOSH Trophy” which I liked quite a bit even before I realized we went to art school together.

Burnin’ Off Some Steam

This is just some steam coming out of some pipes from the Vanderbilt overpass on 42nd Street in Midtown from last night, but there’s a street light behind it and I have my trusty low-tech iPhone camera doing it’s unpredictable thang.  It kind of makes me think of special automotive effects from a monster truck rally.
