Repurposed Tree

I found this beautiful fungal takeover in suburban D.C. over the holiday break.

Take a look around NYC, there’s some serious shroomin’ going on. Due to the massive increase of rain since July, trees that normally do not grow fungus, has been covered with the white & brown stuff. It’s kind of gross and kind of cool. These first few shots come from Nassaua Avenue, Greenpoint.
