Little Liberty

It’s the other Statue of Liberty, behind the Brooklyn Museum, in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s parking lot.  This statue was made over 100 years ago made by an unknown artist to be adorned on top of a rich dude’s tall (at that time) 8 story building, which apparently wasn’t uncommon when Lady Liberty was still very young.

What’s interesting is that she’s got a random pile of moss growing at her base.. or they kind of look like “droppings”.

Very perculiar..
