FROM THE G TRAIN

BROOKLYN, NY

Alternate Entrances

Interesting doorways from Vernon Blvd, LIC, Queens, NY, USA.

Nearby, down the stairs of the 7 train, there’s a surprising residential doorway.

Nassau Dungeon

Junk Street: Second Avenue Stigmata

I found this on 91st Street and 2nd Avenue, along the new subway construction route.  It was red, thick, greasy and it had green glowing dots floating in it. Yummy.

Seven Line Blur

It was so loud under the tracks, my camera couldn’t focus.

Centuries Apart

This is the 45th Road – Court Square stop on the 7 train in Long Island City.  The elevated platform station opened on November 5, 1916.  The new glass & steel addition is scheduled to be completed by this Summer.  This is the stop next to P.S.1.  I think the new look only works when it’s juxtaposed with (and doesn’t outright replace) the ninety-five year old structure. This pictures looks better bigger, so click on it, son.
